Okay, only just ran across this thread so you'll have to forgive me if I'm running over old ground from the start of the thread.
No the stream doesn't work in IE. Why not though..?
Well I'm a nosey git and was more interested in this than the stream itself. Besides I was fairly certain I knew what it was because I've done it myself in the past.
Normally when you're writing html carriage returns are ignored. Problem is IE throws a wobbly if you do this partway through an embed command for some reason.
So there you go Cellcast peeps, get rid of the carriage return in your embed command and you'll have a stream that works for IE users as well

works in IE for me, i think its hit and miss really. But if you PM george.chunni on here, he works on the web stream and tries to fix it when it goes wrong.
