Hey, that satwalker meant I could get free hardcore porn films 7 nights a week and Saturday afternoon premiership football when the internet was still in its infancy and p2p wasn't even thought of!! Big GrinBig Grin

And here's another anorak expression from those days - D2-Mac!!
I don't have any trouble receiving Storm (or RLC for that matter).
I'm receiving a signal without any problems
The picture is absolutely fine and the babes are awesome. The only small problem is every time the on screen babe goes on the mic I can never hear what they are saying properly even at maximum volume, the voices seem very distorted and I just cannot pick up any of what is being said. When they are not on the mic and the background music plays I can hear it no problem even at low volume so its a bit of a mystery to me.
There definately a problem with the sound on the microphone - plusses and minuses on the mic wiring possibly wrong causing the sound to be out of phase and causing it to cancel the mic sound on air, especially if listening in mono?
I have to share a communal SKY dish and again only if the weather is really bad do I lose signal, I generally find that heavy rain, snow or really blustery wind can throw the signal, infact last winter I lost all the 900's for a few hours down to horrendous weather conditions, that ofcourse was in between seeing snow and lightning at the same time, it was sureal scary weather, for a moment last year I thought the world was coming to an end!!!!!!!!

Yes good point, in the entire history of this channel I think I've yet to hear a clear and concise voice on the mic, why has this problem not been fixed yet, I mean it's 2011 and surely the technology isn't that bad. Storm technical need to get this fixed ASAP.
Being out of the country for two weeks I come home and find that Storm has been replaced by the Jewellery Channel on Freesat in non-freesat mode if you know what I mean.

Tried retuning still no Storm.

Is this just a Freesat non-freesat mode problem? All other 900 channels fine with a Freesat box.

Although I do have an overwhelming urge to buy a shitty non ruby ruby ring.
