Hey, hey, here we go again. Big Grin

For all you newcomers you only gain your rewards by getting the exact score, not a similar result, the exact score. It's a hard school. Wink

General football banter should be confined to the Football Banter thread... lots of complaints about that last season, although general doing down of fellow predictors and general prediction nastiness is encouraged within this thread.

There will be a new scoring system, ooh can't wait, no hats, no feathers, but the predictor with the most correct predictions will still be champion.

Onwards and upwards, nice two week leeway to get into the swing of things, and good luck to all.

Nice to see this thread starting up again Captain. I hope you've had a pleasant summer break from this madness.
Rest assured that, as the defending champion from last season Big Grin I'll be back to try and prove that it was no flash in the pan. My first prediction for the new season is that "someone" will predict a 10-0 win for Liverpool on the opening day laugh

I'll be bloody disappointed if they don't. Wink

Gerrard's injured so I don't see us getting more than 8.

Sup Vimester, guess who's back. Heeere's Johnn... Err Mitchell, no unwitty follow ups please stick to your own rules. "General football banter should be confined to the Football Banter thread... lots of complaints about that last season"
Dearie me Mitchell, you really weren't paying attention last season were you? Have a look through the old thread once again, and see if you can spot a pattern with any 10-0 predictions Wink The Captain knows who I'm talking about.
I haven't really been posting much as of late on the forum, but i am a man who keeps his promises...

Very happy with a top4 finish although i did tail away towards the
end of the season as i was predicting with my heart rather than my head.. Sad

Im coming after eagle_si's title next Big Grin

...and this time i'm not letting my heart rule my head Big Grin
I know who he's talking about, I was just having a joke. Rolleyes What happened to this, "General football banter should be confined to the Football Banter thread... lots of complaints about that last season"

Perhaps this is why I won: as my lot aren't in the Premier League, I can be objective. Though it could be fun throwing in a random freaky score every week Wink

See, mitchell, the operative word is predict.

So in a prediction thread talking about predictions is prediction banter and not football banter. Wink
