I've slowly got into this series, being a fan of the original i found it hard to get into. You guys should give it try

Never liked the original, too shiny and optimistic for me. But I loved the mini-series pilot for the new one. I've lost track of the series now (miss two episodes and you're screwed ) but I'll be getting caught up on DVD soon. First and only visit to this thread for now mate, terrified of spoilers! (haven't even viewed the vids just in case!)

Always thought this series would be weak and cheesy...how wrong was I? This is possibly the best Sci-Fi series I have ever seen! Superb story arc,so far,great characters,not reliant on space battles every five minutes and superbly written.I strongly urge any fan of quality TV to get the box sets! Amazon are pretty much giving them away at the moment between £14-£17 per box set and I think the mini series,which you must see first is about £4 ! Also,with respect to the forum,Tricia Helfer and Grace Park are gorgeous!

Yeah it's a very good series, Disappointed that we're on the final 10 episodes(i think). But their will not be a 5th season

The only good thing is that it will be finishing on a high instead of them running series and the ratings dropping and at least there the writers are ending it on there terms not the studio. The amount times i've seen the studio studios just cancel a series and it end's up with a fucked up ending. There launching the spin off series next year .

This has popped up on iPlayer. It's complete and includes the Mini Series which sets everything up. Well worth a watch, or indeed a re-watch.
