This is pretty basic stuff, after all I know how to do it! But it occurs to me that something is only easy to do if you know how it's done. With that in mind, a brief tutorial for those who've never embedded a video before.
Step 1
Go to your favourite tube-style site -I've chosen youtube as it's the big hitter in the market- and select the video you want
Step 2
Look around the screen until you see a box labled embed.(In youtube it's on the right) Left click the text inside that box and it will change colour.
Step 3
Right click on the highlighted text and select copy from the context menu
Step 4
In the body of your post, right click again and select paste. The embed code should appear in full in the in the text window of your new reply
Note It's always a good idea to preview your post first, just to make sure the video embedded is the one you were wanting to embed.
Step 5
Post your reply and the video will be on the forum for all to see!
This may be a case of teaching your granny how to suck eggs, but you never know, it may come in handy for someone.
The same instructions apply for all tube-ish sites, the embed code may just be in a different area of the screen.
