Down loaded the demo of Mortal Kombat today on PSN and it looks like this series as back on form, you only get 4 fighters to chose from and a couple of back grounds. My fav Mortal Kombat for me was the second one after that the series started losing something, then they put the game in 3rd and the game just felt wrong plus the game play was really slow. This game puts the figthers in 2d and the background in 3d same as Super Street Figther IV. Where this game works is the game play quick and sharp and moves come out when you expect them too, also theres a good range of combos and plus you can create your own combos. With the full game there will be loads of unlockable stuff, loads of different modes and figthers and each figther will have two fatalities and stage fatalities through out the game, can't wait for the full game.
Getting the combos together now haven't lost my touch on mortal kombat lol

I so miss playing PS3 online, because my fucking landlords at my uni flat have blocked playing PS3 or XBOX online. The bastards!!!! Oh well looks like I will have to wait until i finish uni for good in mid may and then come home with my PS3 and play online for the rest of the summer. Add me people, although i won't get back to you until May when i finally go online again on my PS3.

Scorpion's really good got all his classic moves and the moves are pretty easy to do. Really looking forward to the full game, feels like the best MK since MK 2

I always really liked the style of the Mortal Kombat games but the moves/combo system always hinder my enjoyment,
In Streetfighter i can pull off every move, even when it was on the megadrive and you had to do the 360 D-pad spin for Zangiefs finisher
Killer Instinct was the same,Gamesmaster was showing these awesome 45 hit combos which, unless you lived and breathed the game, were impossible for a mere chimp to perform.
I have only one thing to say to the team who worked on this game 'Get over here!!!' and give me easier controls
