Sorry if this has been asked before.

But is there any chance of putting a limit on the length of forum names. As recently I've notice some ridiculous length names cropping up.

Yes I know it's just a bit of fun. But monitors don't come in 32:9 formats. And their name alone takes up half the page.

Anyway gripe over.

Any particularly notable ones? (asks 'krilboy1')

The current limit for usernames is 26 characters.

I didn't even realise there was a limit. I have no objection to the names themselves. In fact I'm quite amused by some of them.

But any chance you could make it available to split them onto two lines, so the names in posts don't take up half the page.

If you view the forum in non-classic view the length of the name has no impact. You can change to non-classic view here by unticking the 'Display posts in classic mode' checkbox.

I guess there's a simple solution to most problem's if you know where to look.

I've unchecked it now. Problem sovled.
