Images where? On here as attachments? Or images via certain image hosts or from other specific web-sites?
I'd contact my Internet Provider, sounds suspiciously like DNS issues.
Sounds like some software has been installed to protect children from accessing inappropriate sites. This is usually installed on a computer which acts as a proxy server which connects direct to the internet/router and all the other computers on the network have to pass through it. It can also be installed on any individual computer if no proxy server is set up. There are many programs that can do this and have lists of blacklisted sites which are blocked.
It happens when I try to open all imageban pictures, some rapidshare posts and some imageavenue pictures, can someone please give me some guidance as to how to get rid!

What browser are you using. If its internet explorer you could try firefox but don't import the internet explorer setting when installing. I use firefox all the time with no problems.
The problem still sounds like some filtering software has been installed somewhere. Are you able to visit some of the porn sites or are these blocked also.
when my last pc broke i went a bought a new one cos i couldn't be bothered with the hassle of taking it to get fixed cos it always ends up getting so complicated and expensive, especially when you take it to pc world anyway
If its imagebam and RS links then it definitely sounds like a software issue/bug and not to do with your ISP.
Late to the party on this one I see Rolleyes
Why do I getb the feeling you're accessing sites via a third party proxy?
Error is fairly classical of those third party proxies either being blocked or by them not supporting scripting required to display correctly
