Is there meant to be no sound or is my computer playing up? Much as that music is annoying I prefer to be able to hear the rare times the girls speak to camera. But I guess that's a personal preference.

it makes the upload much bigger often by a third. so a lot of guys leave it out for speed of conversion and upload.

I don't include sound on my webstream recordings either, because most of the time, it's so far out of sync, it would take ages to get it back. and that doesn't include having to do it several times because of the stream glitches and refreshes.

If I do a satellite recording, then I include the sound.
