I thought I should post a farewell to Malcom McLaren as nobody else has done so. Whatever you think of Malcolm he certainly wasn't dull to put it mildly and even John who wasn't on speaking terms with him has been generous in his tribute.

He was a twat.

A succesful twat though.

I am shocked I did not hear of this at all, say what you will about this man but he was the creator of Punk and brought a new found unity to people that many still identify with today, imo the man was a genius his development of new innovative music was always his desire, very arrogant and very opinionated but never short of confidence and self belief, you either liked him or you didn't!

As my own little tribute I would like to share a few tracks of his even though he will forever be remembered for The Sex Pistols I loved some of his solo stuff!

Malcolm MaLaren's funeral is today. His family have asked people around the UK to play loud music - a ''minute of mayhem'' - at midday today, the time the funeral begins.
