Chris Kanyon has been found dead today, at age 40.

Kanyon worked in WCW in the late 90's working as Mortis, then as a member of the Flock with Raven, and also as Chris "Champagne" Kanyon.

Kanyon also spent a short amount of time wrestling in the WWE following the purchase of WCW by the WWE, during the Invasion angle.

Details are still emerging, and we will post as we find out more.



Another one who has gone before his time in the wrestling world R.I.P Kanyon

Didn't know of him, as this was far before i started watching wrestling, but it's sad when any wrestler dies. Especially when one such as this dies so young, as many die so young thesedays it's very sad to hear. R.I.P.

Sad news, whoever he is. Must be drug related , he's a wrestler...

I remember Chris Kanyon, and he was a man with problems. I think he even came out a while ago, but I'm not sure if he was working an angle or something.

While sad, this is no great suprise.

very sad news . Kanyon was a really great worker and very under rated for the amount of Talent he had.

Chris was hailed by Bobby Henan as the 'Inovator of offense' and had the finishing move, 'The Flatliner.'

He was partnered with Raven for a short while in WCW, but was never used to his full potential. A great worker and I wish the WWE had used him better as he would of been a great asset to any wrestling promotion.

Yeah i remember him i always used to see him with ddp and bam bam in wcw

Klucsaritis' death is believed to be a suicide. He had been open about suffering from a bipolar disorder and had talked and threatened suicide many times in the past according to those who are close with him. An empty bottle of prescription medication and several notes were found close to the body.
