So Wrestlemania has been and gone and the next WWE PPV is EXTREME RULES and on this card all matches are fought under 'extreme rules'. In the past I've enjoyed this show which has been in June now it has replaced Backlash as the April PPV.
Matches I wouldn't mind seeing would be:
Edge vs. Jericho (TLC or Ladder)
Cena vs. Batista (Cage)
Orton vs. one of Rhodes or DiBiaise (Stretcher)
HHH vs. Sheamus (First Blood)
I believe according to the Sky Sports magazine that this is going to be on Sky Sports not SBO
Instead of my prediction of a Cage, it is going to be a Last Man Standing match between Batista and Cena. Lets hope it is another good LMS match with Cena in as he had some good ones with Umaga and Edge in the past.
These are the matches that are announced so far.
John Cena vs Batista - Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship.
Rey Mysterio vs CM punk - if Punk is defeated he loses his hair.
Jack Swagger vs Randy Orton - Extreme Rules Match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Triple H vs Sheamus - Street Fight.
Edge vs Chris Jericho - Steel Cage Match.
things might be getting desperate with the wwe these days; a whole card of gimmick matches ! and i must say i couldn't have less interest in this ppv- so far swagger has been booked as the weakest world champion EVER. what a great way to get a new champion over
Definitely not a good lineup on the card so far, i can honestly say that none of those matches really interest me in the slightest, and i probably won't even bother to do predictions. Given the Extreme rules stipulation, you would think that it might make these matches a tad more interesting, but i don't see it to be honest, especially with WWE's PG rating you know that they're won't be any blood and probably won't be alot of weapons actually being used.
Imagine they will add maybe one or two more matches to the card at the last moment. I hope they will do something with the Tag Titles, im sick of Miz and Big show as the champions. It would be nice to see the Hart Dynasty as the Champs, especially considering they have Bret Hart in their corner thesedays.
Glad to see this is on Sky and not Box Office
I hope both champions retain - too many world championships are changing hands too quickly these days.
JTG vs. Shad Gaspard (Strap Match) Has been added to Sundays Card.
