It's when she's sitting up, bouncing on the floor, and you're only supposed to see north of the border - but the cameraman (do we know it's definitely a man?) was half asleep, and forgot what was showing underneath the advert!

You must have been on Sky. On Freeview there's only the tiniest sliver visible below the advert banner. Sad

Well that's very odd. There's almost nothing visible below the advert banner on my tv, nothing at all on BSX and PL. It's all the same whether I'm watching directly off air or any of the recordings from my PVR and two DVD recorders. The picture I get is missing a fair bit of the transmitted image from top, bottom and both sides compared with the Sky images posted on here and the one shown on the web stream. Huh

It's your TV you need to look at - the data is probably on your recordings, you just can't see it. Do you have a digital wide-screen TV? An old 4x3 CRT is useless - the edges are purposely cut off for the old analogue broadcasts. One way to prove it would be to put a test video (of STEVIE Heart ) onto DVD and watch it on your PC.

£600 wide screen Sony with built in Freeview.

Ah... well check the manual - it's probably not set up right...

Here's what the screen should look like (on freeview) - and to keep things on topic...

That pic of Stevie is exactly what it looks like on my cheap 16x9 freeview TV and also on my Sony PVR/DVD recorder. I usually crop off the black bars as shown at the sides of the pic before posing my screenshots.

'Course it's set up right, I'm not that daft!

Some makes of TVs show more around the edges and top and bottom than others even when set up right, i have a 32 inch Panasonic with in built freeview quite a lot can be seen under the info banners , but on my Samsung 22 inch TV with built in freeview very little can be seen , both are wide screen TVs and set up correctly
