Trying to create a single thread in my opinion would just make it confusing as all the Q&As got mixed together. Up to the people asking the questions I guess but if everyone starts posting questions/answers in one thread things are going to get messy
I'd suggest leaving as is and keeping the threads problem based rather than application/OS based else people are more likely to miss advice they are looking for. After all most of the people looking for advice are not technical. They won't know what their problem is with most of the time, just the symptoms
