Place to discuss your favourite sitcoms - mine include Scrubs, IT Crowd, Black Books, Friends, The Simpsons, Father Ted, Not Going Out, My Name Is Earl, etc...
mine is father ted but since dermot morgan died premature at 45 of a heart attack.only a few series were made.there was talk of doing a similar show that featured the priests on rugged island thou im not sure it would be the same.
I love all the shows mentioned. My favourite sitcom at the moment is The Big Bang Theory.
Not only do you have the lovely (and funny) Kaley Cuoco, but every one of the guys brings something to the show.

My favourite character is Sheldon...

My favourite character in the IT Crowd is Maurice Moss (Richard Ayoade). A nerd in the true sense of the word and funny and adorable. Jen (Katherine Parkinson) is always on top form as is Roy. I love the episode when Moss emailed the fire brigade lol, class. The Big Bang Theory i have watched a few episodes and seems good. I do love Kaley because she is like gorgeous and stuff lol (i would for sure). Wasn't she in 8 Simple Rules? X X
Yep, Kaley was the older sister in 8 Simple Rules (even though the redhead is actually 6 years older than her! lol), she's very funny.
The Big Bang Theory is currently on on a Thusday at 9pm.
Now that's something to ponder upon, you and Kaley Wink

Moss is my favourite too...
Thanks Skully X also showing episodes of The Big Bang Theory on Ch 4 tonight at 11.05pm - The Cornhusker Vortex. And if i am ever lucky enough i'll pm you the pics lolX X
Father Ted is comedy classic Steve, excellent castings for all the main characters with Father Dougal McGuire (Ardal O'Hanlon) and Father Jack Hackett (Frank Kelly) on Craggy Island. Every episode was consistently strong. And must not forget Mrs Doyle (Pauline McLynn).
My all time favourite has to be Only Fools and Horses, every episode had some classic moments in them.
this scene being one of them.
Smile

I adored Father Ted because it was hilariously funny, tragically brief with the passing of Dermot Morgan (Shady Cee's avatar so obviously a fan - unless he's a Father Ted lookalike), and also socially/politically significant. It was at the time of the peace process in Ulster and part of the process of moving away from the influence of the Catholic church in the Republic. Ok, enough culture vulture analysis! "FECK, ARSE, GIRLS, DRINK, DRINK, DRINK" still makes me smile - thank you Fathers Jack, Dougal and Ted. BounceBounceBounce
