Whats everyones views on the U.K and how we live these days,is the U.K and where we live a lonely place?

Have to say i think it is lol Forgetting about family and work mates and circle of friends the U.K in general has become a very every man for himself feel.

Years ago for me anyway out clubbing you'd be hugging and talking to every single person in the club but now its all groups and moody looks. Go into any town and its the same thing...

Anyway what you lot think?
I totally agree with you mate, couldn't have said it better myself. Smile

Was the same for me mate. Now a days when I go out I see so much trouble its unreal. 2am and the cops are out in force, the frightening thing is that 9 times out of 10 the police are actually required to break fights up rather than just over see kick out time!

For me this completely ruins nights out. Tend to stay in the smaller pubs now, which have the same faces day in day out. This is ok but you dont get to meet the amount of people you would if you were clubbing!

I know quiet a few people that think the exact same way. As a result we meet less people to make friends with = "lonelier uk"
i gotta agree iam in america rite now an to tell u the truth its kinda weird complete strangers keep sayin hello to me at 1st i was like wtf? didnt no one tell u not to talk to strangers lol but its seems like the norm over here in general the only people that say hello to me on the road are people i know an the only people i say hello to are chicks iam tryna holla i dunno have u guys sen the nokia comercial that was out a few months ago that siad say hello to a nu stranger ery day? well i think we all need to try that wat u fink?
lol yeah but when it comes to young hoods on the street corners its not a hello they need its a good slapping.

I see this story is now one of the top storys on all the main news stations now
not surprised... used to live in Toronto and even though it's a big city everyone was friendly and there were definitely communities and a sense of belonging to where you lived. That's why as soon as i've finished my training i'm off to North America!
Training Burtybum, you in the army or something mate?

Nah - training to become a chef in London...
Good article this. I share the same views as everyone on here.
I don't like them fuckers with the music blasting in their cars that when they go past you they just stare at you, as if they are solid. Happens a lot where i live unfortunatel Sad
And mobile phone music on the buses...grr.
