For me it's a dead heat between Bram Stoker's Dracula-(atmospheric & for a book over 100 years old equal to any modern day classic,no vampire film can match it) & Luke Rhinehart's The Dice Man-Funny & terrifying,a life changing read.

Genius book, was a shame the Americans butchered it in the cinema, but the book is so genuinely funny
I do not read enough tbh but my favorite is the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams. Closely followed by the Eragon trilogy, Dragonlance series and anything by Richard Dawkins.
