I'm still going with the original by Darlene Love of Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) but so many versions have been playing on the radio in the last month. I've heard Michael Buble which is decent, Mariah Carey, well she's Marmite. Have managed to avoid Hanson's efforts. Like the U2 version, but was disappointed that The Offspring didn't rock at all & stayed close to the original. There's loads more out there, some a bit obscure. Darlene did a live version with Jason Derulo & she's still sounded great.
The Pianoman At Christmas - Jamie Cullen
Just had my first play through of this album & I give it a big thumbs up, I was bound to like this as piano is my 2nd favourite instrument, guitar has to be No.1.
Anyway I'd recommend this to anyone, not just jazz fans.
