worth getting a usb vid card thaen installins a vid card driver ?

I would always go for an internal tv card over a usb tv receiver. This is the model that I have. Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1100. It has both analogue and digital outputs so I can connect my Sky box to directly record onto the PC and an Aerial to get freeview.
