Indeed. Although if Professor Moriarty was banned from a forum, I'm sure that when he registered again, he wouldn't do so under the same d.o.b.

He posted that he was leaving but I'm not sure where the post is. Seemed to be his decision anyway.
^^^^ He did. If I remember correctly, he also had a rant at admin in his final post. Rolleyes
Cheers guys, I also got a pm saying something similar, bit of a shame, he was good contributor to the forum. Admin's in a similar position to a channel or one of the girls and can't please everyone all of the time but should expect to be in the firing line every now and then.
I have noticed in the past names with a line through them, and assumed they were just banned users, then today I noticed a bloke called "Anfield" . He had made a few thanks, but had a line through his name, he had only 1 post, which wasn't accessible, he must have made a pretty bad posts laugh

So anyway, can I confirm, members names with lines through them are banned ?
Yes, the line through a members name means that they've been banned. Unless the custom title says otherwise, like closed by request.
Cheers Skully!

A bit of common sense will tell you what will or will not get you banned I guess, just found it odd that bloke was banned after one post.
No problem.
If a member is banned fairly quickly, it's because they're a spammer, or a previously banned member.
