This is the most ridiculous thing you'll ever hear. This match may be a World Cup qualifier but it also happens to be totally irrelevant as England have already qualified!!

Ukrainian FA have sold the broadcasting rights for this game to an online company, as previously it was with Setanta, but due to their collapse, they re-sold the rights. If being online only, wasn't the most ridiculous thing, the charge is astronomical for a one-off game £4.99 if viewers signed up before midnight on Wednesday.
Charges rise to £9.99 for those who subscribe on Thursday and Friday, and £11.99 on Saturday.

They'll also show it at Odeon cinema's for £12!!!

If anyone wants to watch this match for free and all other Premier League matches on weekends, including 3pm ko, pm me n i'l giv u simple instructions on how to do it. It is perfectly legal, it is just a broadcast from a foreign country.

That is ridiculous you should boycot it
Hmm let us see:

1. It is a nothing match, it doesn't matter.
2. Capello will not field the strongest side we have.
3. It is fucking Ukraine, who gives a shit?
4. How can they condone it costing that much when it is only Ukraine.
5. The quality is going to be seriously shitty in comparison to TV. Again why would I pay for that?
6. Out of the 7 people I work with, all big football fans, not one gives a flying fuck, nobody cares, England friendlies (which this basically is) are boring as fuck.

So I may not watch it lol.
Im not english but i think its wrong to charge people 4.99 or 11.99 if you order on saturday a skysports subscription only costs £6 or £7 a MONTH

Sky must be ripping me off then, because I pay them a lot more than that.

Not really. Sky used to charge £6 for matches on Prem Plus and at that price they got plenty of takers. £4.99 is a bargain. Not to mention all the pay as you view boxing. Don't those fights normally cost £9.99? And a boxing match might be over in the first minute too. £4.99 for a football match is a bargain.

Ye but this is online only, its a one off game, and england have already qualified. Also Premplus offered u season ticket 50 games for £50
they estimate nearly 500 000 people watched it lol. with a buy rate like that i would expect more matches to be ppv on sky now. you really have to hand it to england fans. all the dumb fucks had to do was either boycott the match, watch it in the pub or find a free stream online. now it is shown that they will pay for a match that was pointless i don't expect to hear them moaning when it becomes a regular event.
