Hi everyone,

Which is the best image host to use? and how do you make your images appear full size instead of thumbnail

Bailey x x
Hi Bailey,

This is how you host big pics.....

1. Go to http://www.imagechunk.com
1. On Imagechunk click 'Browse' (in Explorer or Firefox) or 'Choose File' (if using Safari)
2. Find & Select your chosen picture on your PC
3. Click Submit (on Imagechunk)
4. Once the file has uplaoded you'll be presented with a list of codes. Copy the code in the first row down.
5. Paste it into your forum message
6. Put [img] in front of the code
7. Put [/img] after the code

That's it. Make sure you preview your forum message before submitting just to check that the embedding of large pics has worked.

Any problems, just ask.
As above, but at step 4, copy the Hotlink for forums code (5th one down on Imagechunk). Then just paste directly into the reply box.

I think I remember imagechunk being recommended for hosting photos a long while ago and it was good. Now its a popup infested turd of a site. annoyed

Im seeing those horrible pop-over things which take over the page until you refresh or press thier button, which has somehow become acceptable. What I really hate is the popup notification boxes that stop you refreshing the page or quitting the page and try to force you into pressing 'ok'. I dont know what happens when you press 'ok' because I just ctrl-alt-delete and end task on the site.

No more clicking on thumbs from me unitl imagechunk removes the obtrusive notification box or babeshows.co.uk drops them.

Picturedumper.com comes highly recommended. No ads, no pop-ups and you can fullsize the image and you can do muliple uploads at once.

I don't have popups on my website.

The only thing I have is a full-page ad after you have visited the site 10 times within an hour.

I hate popups and would never add them, which leads me to believe that your computer is infested or you merely posted this message so you could promote the other image host.

The forcefull grey notification box has gone now. I noticed it on another site that I use so it might have been coming through an advertising banner.

I know it wasnt just my pc because it happened on my laptop also.

Hmm, where is the common factor here seeing as nobody else seems to have complained?

I personally have no vested interest in any of the image hosts mentioned here but seeing as summer looms closer I vote for a picnic Rolleyes Big Grin
Does anybody know how to resize pic with image chunk??bladewave
You can't resize the original picture with Imagechunk. This site is the best I found for resizing pics. http://www.picresize.com/
