Not really visited this thread for a while (shame on me), anyway, I've grown really fond of a Japanese band called Band-Maid. They're a 5 piece, all female, costumed as traditional 'maids', as seen in Japanese cafe culture. The rhythm guitar/vocalist Miku formed the band in 2013, she had worked in a maid cafe, which is where the idea came from. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Band-Maid
