I'm guessing that most of you have heard of the governments plan to lift the ban on product placement on UK television. I was wondering if this would also apply to babe shows and if so what it means for the future of these channels?
Will we soon be seeing the babes wearing designer clothes with huge labels and drinking cans of coca cola? And if so will the channels put less importance on getting callers and focus more on gaining viewers?
"Hi boys, and welcome to Bangbabes, sponsored by Tampax."

No.

It's very difficult to sell advertising on adult channels except for other adult services. Mainstream brands by and large will not spend their advertising budgets on adult channels, when they have better alternatives, especially for family products like coca cola. Playboy did manage to get bacardi to advertise on Playboy TV, but that was a rare exception.

If the babe channels could sell advertising for coca cola they would be doing it already, without product placement.

Since most viewers are male, its more likely to be sponsored by Gillette (or Kleenex Big Grin) than Tampax.
Ok coca cola is probably a bad example, but I do see an oppertunity for babe shows to become less dependant on phone calls.
There must be some companies that aren't afraid to advertise on these channels.
Here's a link about it http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvand...ifted.html but the hell with lifting the UK product placement ban I want SENCOR SHIP ban lifted Big Grin

True, but imagine the possibilities for demonstrations...
Johnsons baby oil and cream would be the first products i can think of that would find the change advantagous Bounce
I hate to think what they could get up to with various Black & Decker items.
The girls could appear with their website adresses tattooed across their foreheads & randomy plug "Mr. Dog", "Shreddies" or "Loans Direct". I'd particularly like to see this done in a Tourettes-style.
