(seems a bit early in the evening for all the goblin/orc amputations & decapitations I remember seeing, so I hope ITV haven't edited the bollocks out of it.)

Well it was a long enough slog in the cinema - how bloody long is it going to be on TV with all the ad breaks ?
I suspect they'll be editing for timing reasons if for nothing else.

Sky epg 7pm - 10-15pm thats prob why its starts at 7pm if it started at 9 would be after midnight before it ended lol

only 3.25 hours ? That only allows for 3 five minute breaks during the whole film? They must really have edited the hell out of it - I suppose if you get rid of all the slow motion "emotional" close ups of dwarves looking angry/serious/sad etc then that saves a fair bit of time ?
