That's it from me, this will be my final......some text missing

Sorry about that, what I was about to say was that this will be my final posting landmark/milestone. I don't envisage getting remotely close to 50K, & this isn't an attempt to draw attention to my own very average body of work, it is more of an opportune time to highlight others. Currently 10 members have posted more & they account for around 25% of the forum's posts, a remarkable effort. Sitting just above me is winsaw who is almost a third of the way to 100K posts, behind me lies doddle one of my sparring partners from yon side o' Pennines, who's a decent sort despite that & will no doubt hit his own 25K in the not-too-distant future.: cool: To all the fine members who follow & hopefully surpass my meagre achievements I thank you all for your continued efforts, including & equally importantly those infrequent posters, the ones just starting out, & anyone who is considering dipping their feet. Nothing wrong with being just a voyeur, but generally speaking with most things getting involved & contributing usually adds to the pleasure.
Take this as a bit of a rallying call to keep making this place worth a visit. We all need to pull our weight as Snooks will be taking his break, (if you pardon the pun) when the last ball is potted at the Crucible. Although we may have him around a little longer the way Selby & Allen are going. Have they ever gone into extra time in the SWC.

Seriously nice one Boomer, 25,000 posts filled with quality, thought and wit. This place wouldn't be the same without you mate especially the banter we have so whether you post another 5 or 25 thousand posts, they'll all be appreciated
