Well Liz welcome to the club! I will not vote conservative until she’s gone AND this breed of conservative MP’s have departed. The poison forced upon us by Johnson and his corrupt cronies now runs too deep for it to be simple fix.

I think the effects of what Johnson's administration did will be felt for a good many years.

If Truss was to call a snap election she'd probably sneak hom with probably one of the smallest majorities in history. The other thing is there just isn't a crediblde opposition that could oust the conservatives.

One of her priorities will be to deal with the outrageous increases in costs of energy.
But I am seeing comments where the help coming is just a deferred payment. And the government borrowing is just to pay the increase for a short term.

And then you will be expected to pay the deferred payment when the cost of fuel reduces (if it ever does).
