Without getting drawn into the specific claims and counter-claims, as someone who mostly taught themself about researching in pre-internet times, when I had to trawl a number of libraries for some things.. the only way to get the best approximation of truth and reality, is by looking at as many sources as possible, and cross-checking them.
Some Wikipedia pages do have that basis, whilst others are more narrowly based, and out of date.
I would hope that any worldly adult, of moderate intelligence, wouldn't presume that BBC, ITV, Guardian, New York Times, Wikipedia etc are completely free of their own corresponding limitations, as claimed about Russia Today.
The last major war in Europe, the Yugoslav one in the 1990s, would be a reference point for that, when different major international powers, and further different factions within them, were supporting different parts of the country, and that was reflected in respective media.

Even by crankshaft's standards this is pretty cheap. Eva Bartlett isn't a journalist and doesn't even claim to be. Only RT refer to her as a journalist and that's because she writes a blog for them.

Bartlett's best known for what Wikipedia calls a 'Syrian civil war disinformation video'. Her controversial claims in that video were found to be false by both Channel 4 News and Snopes fact checks.

I think it's fair to ask at this point how much lower crankshaft can sink. But by turning to someone known as an anti-western activist and conspiracy theorist he seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel already.

Anyone who counters official narratives of particular issues are mocked as 'Conspiracy theorists'. In this case, I'd classify Eva Bartlett not as a 'conspiracy theorist', but a journalist who in her investigatory journalism is making speculations of potential conspiracies.

Saw this quote the other day about what a 'conspiracy theorist' means which made me laugh:

Nope, as I said, Eva Bartlett is talking only about Azov Battallion and evidence of Ukrainian attacks on civilians in the Donbas. You are seemingly deliberately misinterpreting what I said with the same wilful dishonesty as a tabloid newspaper journalist
