British Wrestling

as someone who likes to go watch live British wrestling though i would do a thread for it,
will post up about the shows i see whos on them what it was like,
hope a few others post in here as well,

i have booked up my first show of the year today, front row seat for £15
i will be in that mecca of wrestling the Somerset hall in Portishead on the 29 Jan for a show from Wrestling Society Uk,
this is the card, i am looking forward to seeing British wrestling royalty in the Saint do his thing, the main event between RJ Singh and Tiger Allie for a great belt in the southwest the 4FW title,

Excellent thread winsaw, I'll definitely contribute to it when I have shows coming up.

I have 2 shows booked for February:

The 1st is Progres Wrestling: Chapter 128 at the o2 Ritz Academy in Manchester City Centre on Sunday Feb 6th which is being headlined by ROH World Championship Jonathan Gresham. Other wrestlers confirmed are Cara Noir, Chris Ridgeway, Alexxis Falcon, Gisele Shaw, Mercedes Blaze, Taonga and Lykos Gym

The 2nd is Biggest Date Everr in Salford on Sunday Feb 13. Amongst those wrestling on this show is The Deadly One Nightshade

That's British Wrestling on TV Doddle, this is for British Wrestling shows that forum members are going to

well Wrestling Society UK first ever show last night was excellent, they sold out had 300 people packing the Somerset Hall , it was a great lively crowd everyone was really into it,
it started with a fun Face v Face match as Sami Sahin v Hari Singh, lots of good moves and action really got the crowd going Sami got the win, after the Bell the Monarch came out and beat up there old enemy Sami in a way that had to be to set up something at the end of the show
match 2 was Chris Bronson v Josh Holly Bronson and his partner in crime Hot Shot Chris Adams are well know local heels and they where up to all there tricks as the conned the ref to beat 50's throwback Holly the crowd where really into it as the kept tricking the ref,
match 3 was the Alpha couple Jimmy Vice & Kat von Kaige v Rishi Ghosh & Nadia Sapphire from the Monarch in a mixed tag
this was the best match in the first half of the show, Ghosh and Nadia are great heels lots of talking to the crowd to piss people off Nadia pretty much had her boobs out so all the women watching where really against her,
lots of great action so big moves inside and outside the ring showed how well men v women can work was a lot of fun with a hot crowed when the faces the Alpha couple won the place went nuts,
we had a nice break of 20mins then for beer
the 2nd half started with UK wrestling royalty the Saint v local high flyer Casey Wild,
this match really gave the Saint the chance to show why hes one of the corner stones of british wrestling as Wild fucked up his leg doing a leep frog move on the 2nd move of the match the still managed to have a great 10 min match after the Saint working the crowd so well as the total heel no one noticed the action was limited, this needs a rematch,
match 4 was Hot Shot Chris Adams v high flyer Joey Scott this was an excellent match Adams and Bronson at ring side did all the heel tricks for the 2nd time of the night but this time the amazing high flying moves that Scott did were able to beat them , some real high flying big moves onto the outside not all worked as the ropes where not that tight so hard to jump off he did a shooting star press to the outside but camr up short landing keen first on the ring apron i thought he would not be able to go on but kept going and got the win after some more big moves ,
main event was RJ Singh the Forward wrestling Junior heavyweight champ with the rest of the Monarch at ring side v Tiger Ali ,
this was an epic main event RJ has been champ with this famous belt of over 800 days and Ali once famously won the belt in Japan,
for those who dont know its i think the most famous Junior heavyweight in the uk and has been defended in Mexico and Japan, and had some big names holding it Koji Kanemoto held in and defended it in Japan for a year and Kenny Omega won the belt only a couple of years before AEW started so was really happy to see it up close,
was a great heel v face match RJ is excellent wrestler he worked the crowed well told me to clear off and go back to flipping burgers lol when i was giving him shit,
at the end after 20 mins of grea wrestling RJ won after the match Hari Singh came out and attacked Ali and became the newest member of the Monarch as the beat down Ali Sami Sahin came out and made the save setting up a big tag match for the next show,
this was so enjoyable from start to end next show it 19/3 gutted i cant go as have something on,

Just a week now to my first wrestling which is Progress Wrestling: Chapter 128 which is headlined by Chris Ridgeway v Jonathan Gresham and Impact Wrestling newest Knockout Gisele Shaw defending her Progress Women's Championship against Rhio

Went to Progress Wrestling Chapter 128 in Manchester today and it was fantastic. Won't spoil the results as its going to be shown on wwe network next week. I can though say given Progress themselves have tweeted about it, current NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov made a shock return to confront Cara Noir
