RIP Nobby Stiles
I've just heard the sad news that England 1966 winner Nobby Stiles has died at the age of 78.

Can't be many left of that legendary team alive now. Very sad news, and one member of a very small club of three to win a World Cup Winners medal and European Cup medal. nobby was fearless as a player. (who are the other two?), and played in a Manchester United club side full of talent. also managed preston for a time and coached the preston youth team which included a young Mark Lawrenson who later played for Liverpool.
