RIP Michael Lonsdale

The Anglo-French actor has died at the age of 89. Sometimes you'll see him credited as Michel Lonsdale
I especially like two things he did .
Firstly is the BBC's adaptation of John Le Carre's Smiley's People (1982) where he plays Grigoriev and secondly as Claude Lebel in The Day Of The Jackal (1973)
Youtube police permitting I converse with fans of those productions on that platform.

Brilliant in both Day of the Jackal and Moonraker.

Day of the Jackel is one of my favourite films of all time.
