I was impressed to read that DDP, Lex Luger and others were there for the moment. There's enough real-lifetime feuds in wrestling, it's a nice change to hear a positive take.

I don't think we'll see his like in the wrestling ring again, But I think Tony pulled off a incredible move to sign him after the way WWE treated him. I would say no one begrudges him retiring and many look up to with respect I'm sure.

Thoughts on AEW releasing that backstage footage between CM Punk & Jack Perry? Has it backfired on AEW and put more pressure on Tony Khan?

I get the feeling Tony Khan probably now needs to find a far more creative writer to put AEW back where it should be. I did watch the MMA hour interview and felt at times CM Punk was very open and honest but I wonder if he has put himself in a very difficult position with his comments on the incident itself. To a degree when Ariel questioned him on that very incident, I am pretty sure that there was a thought in CM Punks' mind to deflect any questions on the incident and I wonder if his response would have beeen any different if that interview would have been any different had the footage been aired before that interview. And was Adam Copeland's (Edge) response the night after, the right response?

Edge said enough of negativity then his boss did this a week later lol! It just proved CM Punks point about him not being a real boss. It does nothing for AEW except make them look minor league the same goes for that Ospreay dig at HHH.

The backstage footage seems to have backfired big time.

Will Ospreay was at Pro Wrestling Eve in a personal capacity, supporting his girlfriend/partner Alex Windsor who was wrestling in the Eve Main Event, so I left him alone apart from saying hi when he stood behind me.

AEW are really going into WCW/TNA territory.
About 6 months ago, I actually think AEW on the whole was way better than WWE - MJF was killing it, the devil storyline, some really great storytelling and matches...oh how times change.
They should have taken the high road, let CM Punk do his interview. Just ignore it, Punk will be gone from WWE within 2 years anyway.
Totally mess of a company.

Place has been dead for a while.. it had it's little run of popularity because it was new but it hasn't increased it's viewership it's declined every year and the guy incharge refuses to change anything there are no storylines, every match is the same (super kicks, flips, destroyers) if khan wanted to change he would take himself out and put someone else in charge but it's his toy and no one else can play.

So would you guys say that what CM Punk said in that interview has been proven right?
