Ronald Chesney RIP

Co-writer of "On the Buses" has died at 98.

Quote:Ronald Chesney, the celebrated British sitcom writer who created On the Buses and The Rag Trade with writing partner Ronnie Wolfe, has died aged 98.
Chesney and Wolfe, who died in 2011, created so many TV comedies they were known as "The Other Two Ronnies".
Chesney was also an acclaimed harmonica player who performed with Gracie Fields, Duke Ellington and others.

I'm still surprised ITV have never done a profile on "the other Two Ronnies", given their taste for any old documentary the rest of the time.
