Just seen that Bill Maynard Famous for playing Greegrass in Heartbeat and also in carry on films has died aged 89

I can remember The Gaffer & Selwyn Froggit from my childhood. Someone should show those great shows again, they would get a whole new generation of fans.

Don't think many would disagree with you mate - they just don't make comedies like that anymore - Froggitt episode where Selwyn was trying to paint "Institute" on the club's entrance is a classic
