Ronnie rallied to beat Kyren 5-3 after being 1-3 at the interval.

Shock of the day was Hossein Vafaei drubbing Ding 4-1; Zhao Xintong also held off a John Higgins comeback to win a decider.

Selby was pushed by Vafaei, but he still prevailed; will play Lisowski tonight.

Trump thumped O'Sullivan 6-1, and Phil Yates was pretty much on cliche overload having done the Selby marathon before that evening match.

Lisowski powered into a 5-1 lead, but Selby rallied to 5-4, including a tournament best 143. But on his way to winning the 10th, stuffed a shot with the spider, and Lisowski cleared to make the final.

Trump got into too big a lead at 7-2, but Lisowski did well to bring it back to 8-7 before Trump got it done. Maybe it will give Lisowski the steel for next time? Well done them both.
