RE: Sixty6 Magazine
So without any understanding or analysis of the demographics of each girls following, you're happy to dismiss my hypothesis based on your ability to do simple arithmatic?

Perhaps I should have worded it better that a larger proportion of a babeshow girls following would be more likely to buy a Paul Raymond jazz mag, and that the babeshow girls are a lot cheaper than a borderline Z lister (who may have a greater proportion of female followers for instance). The babeshow girls also cost fuck all (2 cover girls have told me how much they got and it isnt great money at all) so in terms of bang for the buck they are good value.

I run a business unit with a >£100M revenue per annum that specialises in multi channel business offerings to Blue Chips. Trust me, if an analyst came to me and told me he'd done some counting, I'd tell him/her to fuck off and do some actual analysis. Granted I'm just the ideas guy, but there has to be a reason for the increase in Babeshow girls on the cover of Paul Raymond mags

Perhaps we should ask Cambridge AnalyticsBig LaughBig Laugh

Phenomenal!

This doesn't just show the social media reach of the top Sixty6 girls, it's an indicator of how much bigger Instagram is than Twitter now (in terms of the number of users).

They announced a party for 27 March, but are running much later than originally planned. I'd be a bit surprised if it doesn't still happen, given the publicity they got from the previous parties, even reaching the likes of The Sun and The Daily Mail, but I haven't seen a replacement date announced.

Fernanda certainly has a high amount of social media followers for a babeshow girl. In fact she is probably the highest on Instagram with 195k followers, although Dannii Harwood is not far behind with 186k. Very few babeshow girls have even reached 100k. The majority have well under 50k.

But many Sixty6 models are in a different league. The babeshow girls who have featured in Mayfair during the last year average about 48k followers on Instagram. Of the models featured in Sixty6 there are at least 10 with more than a million followers and a couple of them have over 8 million.

Cheers Admiral,

I think that Fernanda sees Instagram as her primary social media outlet for 'experiences'. She has two accounts (although I've a funny feeling that there may be a third waiting in the wings for the future).
There is Fernanda Ferrari Official (198K today) where her photographer, Marcus Avanti posts on her behalf and Brazil Girl Fitness (31.4K today) which she does herself. On the latter she sometimes records the very interesting 'Instagram Stores' that Lowkey put me on to. BGF alone is always fresh: Official, Twitter and this forum often offer us 'Another chance to see'.

However, when she signs off it's always Twitter (64.2K today)that gets the main mention:

'....Twitter to find out when I'm on again'.
'....Thanks for all the posts on Twitter',
'....Thanks for all the naughty pictures you've posted on Twitter, I couldn't do it'.
'....Hobert from UKHotties on Twitter'.

So it's Insta for experience and Twitter for 'news'.
I have remarked to my Moderator my dismay that we here on the Forum don't garner a mention.

I'm tempted to say that Twitter then is for her the denominator and when I'm writing a report (on her next appearance perhaps), it's a Tweet that carries the most weight (in comparison to the S66 schedule for example) even though Marcus Avanti posts on it for her. I'm most irritatingly smug eek when I manage to spot a breakdown in communication of some kind that has led to Marcus re-tweeting an anomaly perhaps or break a news item before he does.
I've noticed a couple of times that the odd Tweet has been written by someone else more or less confidently (and then re-tweeted by Marcus) depending on whether or not I've suggested in one of my reports that this or that is likely to be the case. May be it's just been coincidence but I think our stuff is read.

John Peel, on his radio program used to describe 'research' of the type that you've been doing for us here as a 'piece of lunatic scholarship' and I felt that you've received much deserved praise for it irrespective of whether someone may necessarily agree with the conclusions that you have drawn.

Accordingly, I wanted to ask whether you could take the trouble to consider the merits of the different social media platforms as far as babe channel girls, porn stars etc are concerned: Big Grin

Do you think that Twitter is the denominator?
Do you think that Twitter might earn Fernanda more money or kudos. Might that be why she always mentions it so prominently?
Many moons ago it was Facebook and before that Myspace. Do you think that the pecking order now is:
Twitter
Whatsapp
Instagram
Facebook
Etc?

Where do you think us Forumers fit in?

Sorry if you or someone else has done this to death before or on another thread or if you were planning to get out in the sun this weekend in the trim little craft you're Admiraling in your avatar!!! Big Grin

Hello Chrisst. I overlooked the Brazil Girl Fitness account. It’s good that you brought it up though, as Fernanda uses that the way that mainstream models tend to use Instagram, which is to show a more personal side of themselves and something of their day to day lives. This common aspect of Instagram use is lacking in the Fernanda Ferrari Official account, which makes Brazil Girl Fitness well worth having.

During the hours Fernanda is on TV the comments made on Twitter seem to be much more prolific than those on Instagram, so it makes sense that Twitter would get the main mention. The Instagram accounts are more constant in terms of the activity on them, whereas Twitter comes alive for the event as it were.

The forum has in the past received mentions from Fernanda. She used to visit in those days though, and post here too, whereas her last visit to the forum was the first for a long time.

I’m sure it’s read very widely. The number of views that Fernanda’s threads get suggests as much.

Do you think that Twitter is the denominator?

For mainstream models Instagram is the one that really matters. In the modelling world it’s become an extension or even a replacement for the traditional modelling portfolio. No need anymore to carefully put a portfolio together to send to prospective clients, when plenty of the model’s pictures can already be viewed on Instagram.

For pornstars Instagram seems to be the priority too. It gives them the opportunity to show another side of themselves and to let people see what they do outside of porn. The biggest pornstars have 3 to 4 times the number of followers on Instagram than they do on Twitter. Many of them hardly bother with Facebook.

Babe channel girls seem to be largely going the same way as pornstars, as they are after all adult entertainers just as pornstars are. I remember some years ago many babe channel girls were very active on Facebook, but checking a few of the most followed girls on Twitter and Instagram I found that like pornstars they aren’t bothering much with Facebook anymore.

I think she mentions Twitter so prominently because she sees her followers on there becoming active when she's on TV. She has many more followers on Instagram, but activity there is much more regular and isn't tied to her TV appearances.

For pornstars the pecking order of social media is clear. It’s these 3 in this order and nothing else really matters.
Instagram
Twitter
Facebook

For mainstream models it’s well established that Instagram is by far the most important of social media. It’s the one they can’t possibly do without. After that it’s not so clear, because unlike pornstars the mainstream models tend to have more followers on Facebook than on Twitter (sometimes millions more).

As for babe channel girls, I get the impression that many of them are lagging behind in realising how important Instagram has become as a promotional tool. Unlike both mainstream models and pornstars, the average number of Instagram followers and the average number of Twitter followers that babe channel girls have is about the same. Mainstream models have about 10 to 15 times more followers on Instagram than on Twitter.

(21-04-2018 07:49 )Chrisst Wrote:  Where do you think us Forumers fit in?

We seem to have no problem in getting read. For example, caps posted in the forum can sometimes quickly disappear, which means that most likely the girl in question promptly notified the forum of some issue with them. Another example is comments made on Twitter which directly refer to something said in the forum. That’s happened a number of times that I know of and probably many more times that I don’t know about.

The forum could be used by babe channel girls in a positive way, to promote themselves as they do on social media, but I don’t think they have realised that so far. Perhaps in the future they will.

RE: Sixty6 Magazine
Reading the above posts, I notice that Fernanda’s Instagram account went from 195k to 198k followers in very short time. I can’t help wondering if the admiral mentioning it here gave it a boost?

Anyway, going back a little, it seems mind boggling to me to think that magazines like Mayfair and Men Only would be analysing the demographics of social media followings before deciding which girls to feature. It’s an entertaining suggestion but surely it’s a little bit detached from reality? These are still basically porno mags after all and therefore looking for hot bodies not girls who are hot on social media.

Another thing, I briefly checked on which girls have been featured in recent issues of these magazines and I noticed something which hasn’t been mentioned in this debate so far, that a big majority of the babeshow girls featured are in fact Babestation girls, with the other channels not being represented very much. Can you confirm this admiral, as you have clearly had a thorough look at these magazine lineups?

I can’t take any credit! This thread isn’t a very high traffic thread, so I don’t think many of those additional 3k could have been down to me plugging the account here.

That isn’t the way I read hairbald’s remarks. I don’t think he was actually suggesting that Paul Raymond Publications analyse the demographics of models’ social media followings. At least I hope he wasn’t!

Girls who are hot on social media would actually be good to use as they could well drive some sales. I’m sure that works for Sixty6 magazine. However, Paul Raymond publications are pretty low budget these days and many of those girls who are hot on social media are likely out of their reach.

Some girls who are hot on social media may not want to be in magazines like Mayfair or Men Only anyway, as they are still seen as porno mags, as you mentioned yourself.

Now that you mention it, yes I find this to be absolutely correct and it’s a great observation on your part. You could be on to something! The appearance of babeshow girls in Paul Raymond magazines is so heavily weighted towards Babestation girls that I have to suspect that some connection exists between the two.

Given the long list of Babestation girls who have recently appeared in Paul Raymond magazines, I find the idea of some connection or arrangement between the two to be quite credible.

RE: Sixty6 Magazine
I brought the last issue and feedback that it required more 66 girls in my opinion to persuade me to buy further issues.

I was told that though it was a related product it was not a direct S66 publication and hence it would feature new models and photographers as well as some 66 girls.

I feel this is slightly misleading and there needs to be a better balance if it is carry the sixty6 name in my opinion.

Latest issue launched this week hopefully, i believe it is possible there may be more 66 girl shoots available in the future elsewhere but i'm not sure where.
