Studio66 USA - Chat & Discussion

Well I haven't watched since the first night but had a look last night for an hour and it's still the same, the feed is as bad as Peter Crouch's goal celebrations, it's pants, too much freeze then jump, poor equipment been used. I've also noticed that the girls are no longer porn sensations, just adult stars now. I hope S66 haven't thrown a lot of resources into this venture because it looks very amateur and will be very surprised to see it last. Why travel across the pond when there's plenty of better performers at home, I suppose it's just a novelty that will wear of in time.

Surely the answer's staggeringly obvious? Studio 66 have used US adult stars before and it's worked well for them. In fact so well that they decided to give them a whole channel.

Quite. Why are people so determined to blame the US babes for this channel's failings?

Most of them proved - early on in their performances and before S66 started barking orders and deploying ridiculous self-censorship tactics - that they were willing to do pretty much anything the callers requested. That's more than can be said for our own, silicone-enhanced clones, who simply toe the line night after night.

Give me these US stars any night of the week, just not under the ridiculous control of S66.

Since your clearly desperate for Alexis Texas to explain why she wasn't on last night, get in touch with her on twitter and ask her? Constantly posting here demanding Alexis explains herself won't get you an explanation. Also it's up to Alexis if she wants to explain herself not you or anyone else. I'm not bothered if she doesn't explain why she wasn't on last night.

I'd have thought that the best business plan would have been to start up just as a webshow like Chatgirls and Unleashed.
They are using top US Porn stars after all so why waste them on a censored show.

It is a hopeless waste of time and money.
As if the UK product isn't bad enough already and then we get something even worse with cheap and tacky sets and a dodgy picture that keeps freezing and jumping .
Its almost seems as if S66 is trying to humiliate itself .
Doing a damned fine job too .

Perhaps though, the US porno gals would demand higher rates if they were on a show/stream where they could go further. Maybe he's not paying them much more than the British Elite talent. Which, if true, begs the question, why fuckin' bother with this stupid endeavour at all ?

They only give them just over 4 hours of actual screen time out of the 24 hours this channel broadcasts (taking into account the 2 or 3 breaks the USA girl have during the 10pm to 3am the USA girls broadcast)

How much money do they make from broadcasting for so few hours from the USA ?, is it enough to cover all their costs of broadcasting from a separate studio in the USA, the girls will need paying, the camera operators and producers will need paying, the studio will have to be paid for as well, as will all the equipment required to broadcast via Satellite to the UK, (or however it's done )

It's not the same as when the US girls have come over to the STD 66 studios in the UK, as there was no extra outlay other than possibly higher wages and accommodation etc, ,..

STD 66 has the same number of channels but has now got 2 studios and broadcast equipment to pay for instead of the one, and money is only coming in for just over 4 hours to pay for all it entails to broadcast from the USA

Is it a big money spinner to do this ?, personally i have no idea, but one thing is certain the USA girls broadcasting from the separate USA studios will have to bring in more calls than the UK girls have been doing from the UK studios, or else they may have well stuck to using UK girls or bringing over the USA girls to the UK .
