Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

A serial number or other identifying marks are not really necessary are they? As Tumble_Drier mentioned, if the part is identified as being from a 777 then it has to be from MH370, there are no other relevant losses.

There have only been 4 accidents involving a 777 which resulted in a hull loss.

1 at San Francisco airport, 1 at Heathrow, MH17 in Ukraine and MH370.


The first 2 have been fully investigated, so unless the Russians have dumped bits of MH17 in the Southern Indian Ocean, any 777 debris in that area could only be from 370.

Wouldnt put it past Putin

they do think its 370 because of the part it is apparently a Flaperon only newer types of plane have them. think there are only older planes still mission like an old south african 747 and some air buses missig in the region

how do we know the malaysians havent dumped spare parts in the ocean to cover there arses getting the conspiracys going

Since you mention conspiracies, isn't it obvious that any debris found has just been thrown into the ocean to put us all on the wrong track? Everyone knows that the real plane is on Diego Garcia and is currently being refitted to carry nuclear bombs on the orders of our reptilian overlords.

This is why I mentioned the reference number or part number. Not so much to prove it was from a 777, but to tie the debris to a specific aircraft and thereby thwart the conspiracy theorists (although if the part is identified as being from MH370 they can claim that Boeing is part of the conspiracy)!

CNN says there won't be conformation for another 24 - 48 hours.

I know France has a big air crash investigation unit and history after the Atlantic Air France crash but I'd have thought Boeing would have been the place to send it as they can tie the parts to the actual aircraft confirming exactly which plan it's from.

^ It's been sent to France because Reunion Island is an overseas territory of France

The Boeing 777 Maintenance manual confirms that it's a part of the left hand wing flaperon.

There's no doubt about the aircraft type but there are other numbers that will confirm the exact airframe it came from.

There is a boeing office in Paris

Dont think the would just hand it over to a private company. it could be the only peice of evidence of what happened to the flight

Actually glad it went to france and not Malaysia
