Its always good to see a highly paid person resentful of paying more in taxes for people 'who don't want to work' while maintaining that they pay their fair share

I don't begrudge Paige a penny of the rewards that she is currently earning from the hard work that she undertakes but let us not forget that the top rate of income tax has been cut by this government from 50p to 45p and I'd think that she benefits from that as well as from the increase in the personal tax allowance which benefits higher earning groups more than low earners. I believe the Lib Dems were discussing wealth taxes, notably on property (the so-called mansion tax), rather than taxes on income.

I'd also point out that one of the largest areas of government spending is on the NHS (approximately £100bn). Now I'd think that a professional adult performer like Paige would have her sexual health tests, such as for syphilis, performed in a private clinic rather than the local GUM clinic but perhaps she uses the NHS for other services and treatments and who do you think paid for the training of medical practitioners in private practice? In all likelihood the general taxpayer...

In terms of people who sit on their arses who are paid for by Paige being fucked up the arse...I wonder which groups of people she is referring to? The largest single item of social security spending is on pensions (c.£70bn on state pensions) so perhaps she resents paying for old people who, to be fair, probably do quite a lot of sitting around on their arses.
Perhaps it is people of working age who don't have a job who get 'lavish' benefits for sitting on their arses? Well Jobseekers Allowance costs less than £5bn per annum but does pay a claimant under the age of 25 (like Paige?) the princely sum of £56.25 per week but a whole £71.00 for people aged over 25. These are sums that Paige may spend on a pair of shoes or a meal out but perhaps she resents paying taxes so that millions of people have that cash income per week to live on.
Perhaps its people who are long-term sick and disabled who cause her so much concern? We do spend about £8billion on Employment Support Allowance and Incapacity Benefit and it would seem that hundreds of thousands of those people are not really sick or disabled but are just sat on their arse at home watching the TV all day. Just as well we've got ATOS to flush out these shirkers...
Maybe its lone parents (mostly relatively young women quite like Paige) who cause her so much concern? Teenagers who get pregnant to get a council house... Well, the majority of lone parents work but they pften don't earn a lot as they have childcare responsibilities but there is still plenty of evidence of a strong commitment to work for very low marginal increases in income - women who get off their arse for the equivalent of £1.53 per hour...
People in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance? People who receive a modest amount of income to be able to participate in our society or carers who look after people with real needs such as dementia.
I could go on and on but Paige's attitude is symptomatic of the view that our current situation is due to marginalised groups (Chavs, underclass, benefit scroungers etc) rather than systemic failures in our political, economic and social systems to achieve the continuing increases in living standards that we have got used over the last 60years.
Still, she's entitled to her opinion even if it is ill-informed and selfish...
She's still got a great arse but will she be enjoying quite the same lifestyle in 10, 20 or 30 years time when her money maker isn't quite as pert? Maybe but probably not and she needs to understand that taxation is the price of entry to a civilised society in which the risks of life like ill health, unemployment and growing old are best secured collectively.

Just so there is no doubt, I still think Paige is one of the best performers in the adult industry who appears to have a great personality. I wish her nothing but the best for the future and am grateful for the pleasure that she has given me through her work.

It is very easy to blame poor people for their poverty compared to the virtuous efforts of the hard working taxpayer but you need to look at structural reasons rather than just 'blaming the victim' because of what you've seen on Jeremy Kyle or read in the Daily Mail. Hating Clegg is a very easy reaction to the current situation and being opposed to tax increases is a legitimate position to take, just tell me which parts of public spending you want to cut...
