its a guess that they sold the domain. it may have been a hijack... honestly i have no idea.. normally when a domain expires it gets squatted on in case the original owner wants it back. they then have to pay through the nose to recoup it.
but it could also be that some 1 mistakenly added a redirect on the server.

but again thats speculation...
