Given BS's dropping of a number of their FV channels do posters agree that we can read a few more things into this than the mere cost cutting? For instance, can we argue that this move implies that...

1. Having FV channels is now less important to an operator than it once was? (Seeing as how more babe show business is presumably done online and via the streams than ever before dropping a FV or three is perhaps not the major hit it once might have been.)

2. Having a NICAM license (BS have been using theirs on FV) is now less important to BS than it once was? (There being, presumably, less need to push things on TV when harder visuals are better held back for higher revenued customer interactions.)

3. With MtB now being used more for 'newer' babes the established name babes (with better established consistent stats) are again (on the whole) being given the priority on FV some on here always thought they were. (Joey has always been one for this.)

Also anyone got anything else like this arising from the recent changes?

I think tv in general ( FV & sky ) is less important to bs than it once was. More & more of the better content is online and behind a Pay wall these days.

I don't imagine many people will even notice the loss of FV 176 and 177, as only broadcasting for an hour at 4 or 5am is hardly worthy of being called a channel anyway.
The special FV only output, when it occurs, only happens on Babenation and that hasn't gone, so no change there.
Studio 66 now have a FV channel, when they previously had no presence there, so it could be argued that it is now more important for them?
