Who needs attack of the triffids when you have attack of the tripods :-)

Pervcams are NOT the future... The tried and tested formula thats been going since it started is, you could stare at the screen for ages and not see a dog let alone a Pussy, why fix something that isnt broken. I enjoy it when stuff is accidently shown... And you see it for free.

because it is broken. the shows have gotten tamer and tamer over the years and revenue has been falling year on year.
so sayin dont fix what aint broken when its obviously broken and has been for a while is counter productive.

the babeshows have been loosing money for years. if they had other options they would no doubt have explored them. online and PPV is where the money is, way less regulation and a way bigger potential audience. so i dont blame em for trying to get a bit of that pie.
yeah freeview will suffer because of it, but if freeview isnt making the money then to them, its an acceptable trade off. sad i know but it seems to be the reality.

Audience wise freeview is a far bigger watching platform than murdochs Rip Off Sky TV, The main problem are these silly Gimmicks, pervcams/traffic lights/2 Minute Challenges, they need/want people to stay on the phone line for as long as physically possible, 2 minutes then 5 minutes phone waggling is losing money hand over fist.......can it be fixed, who knows? Unless its time to say enough is enough.

I'd guess maybe Babecall is just a midweek thing, and they change the schedule for weekends when they've got BSX liveshows on ?

^ OK, but maybe whoever told her to say that got it wrong ? Doesn't seem to square with bsx shows advertised as starting at midnight last couple of nights ?

^ No idea, but it feels more like that they planned 'great things', then changed their minds after only 3 nights; After all, AFAIK, they conveniently managed to not tell anyone about the 'launch' (I just happened across it 'by accident'), so, unsurprisingly, probably didn't get many calls, so thought, 'well, that's not working, back to plan A'.

All speculation on my part, but given the apparent incompetence of the fuckwits in charge of Lamestation these days...

Maybe there will be re-launch, 'Babecall 2.0', next week?
