Absolutely hammered it down earlier this afternoon where I am. Not seen rain that heavy in years.

Missed the worst of it here but horrendous floods further North.

Woman and her mother on the news tonight just got out of their car and legged it in time, before a landslide took it at the Rest And Be Thankful.

The Met Office has issued a Red weather warning for very heavy rain covering most of Angus and Southern Aberdeenshire in Scotland lasting 6.00 pm tomorrow (Thursday 19th October 2023) to noon on Friday 20th October 2023, which is severe enough to cause threats to people’s lives. So, take care to anyone that lives in the area.

They found the body of a 57 year old woman who got swept away from the flood water around the Glen Esk area.

I see that we have a covering of snow this morning. I was telling a friend in Australia who replied that the temperature over there was 41c.

I think that I prefer the snow.

It was -5° degrees when I got to work this morning - I've been out in this cold weather all stinking day - To say I was freezing my gonads off is an understatement!! I had 2 T-Shirts, 2 Jumpers, 1 coat, 1 Body Warmer, a Beanie Hat and gloves and it was still freezing .
