It fact it's the best day of the year so far

Gone into a phase of pissing it down with rain and blowing people in all directions as they walk down pavements.

Why is it that a bit of snow seems to drastically INCREASE the number of cars on the road and therefore the extent of traffic jams.
Yesterday morning it was gridlock on the bus going to work for almost the entire journey. Normally it takes 45 minutes to get to work.
Yesterday it was 5 minutes short of 2 hours. Mad.

Surely common sense would dictate snow should mean people don't drive unless they absolutely have to yet the entire population of the universe seemed to be on the roads yesterday. FFS .

It's absolutely beautiful weather where I live today. Blue sky, not too hot or too cold, lovely sunshine, nice breeze. Perfect .
Ideal for a walk in the local park .
