Hate Preachers To Be Banned From UK TV

Just like in the 1980's when Gerry Adams and Sein Fein were subject to Government censorship the same will soon apply too when it comes to preachers of hate within the UK.

First of all I'm all for freedom of speech before I get accused of having double standards here but I feel in recent times that a line has been crossed and I fully support this latest Government initiative.

My only concern is that give the politicians an inch and they very well might just take a mile. I hope commonsense is applied without this leading to anything more sinister.

Our good friends at ofcom have been asked to step in

Also on the agenda is that all extremist websites that also preach hate will be blocked from the internet too.
