Michael Winner 1935 - 2013 RIP

Film director Michael Winner has died aged 77. He had been diagnosed with terminal cancer last year.

He'll be forever known for his Death Wish series of films and his 'Calm Down Dear' adverts.

Another sad loss to the movie world. I thought the Death Wish series opened up a new direction in film, pushed boundaries in cinemas. I thought only the first one was decent, but nonetheless they amassed a cult following.

RIP Michael.

Sad news regarding dierctor Michael Winner, his association with the late great Charles Bronson provided me with two films i never tire of watching in Death Wish and The Mechanic.
