Use of blood/blading in wrestling
After the subject being addressed in Nigel McGuinness documentary and a wrestler having had contract cancelled with WWE as he contracted Hep C which he believes was due to blading at Indy shows Should blading/blood be banned in wrestling?

RE: Use of blood/blading in wrestling
I don't think it should be banned but they should probably choose when to do it better. I really think that blood can help tell a story of a match but often on indy shows (especially deathmatches) they just go to a whole other extreme that they really shouldn't. Also in WWE and to a lesser extent TNA I think they test wrestlers so they pick up on such problems but on the indies such things can fly by under the radar.

^Why ? Was the HHH/Taker HIAC match not violent ? The 6 man main event at TLC not violent ? Blood & violence do NOT equate to good wrestling.

WWE have had a no blood (by blading or otherwise) policy for some years now, the only downside is watching referees fumble with their gloves when someone does accidentally get cut.

Actually in 2012 they let some blood go by. In the Brock/Cena match at Extreme Rules Cena got busted open hardway early on and they left it. Also Punk bleed in a cage match with Jerry Lawler on Raw (some believe hardway others blade) and they didn't stop it.
But I agree it completely kills a match when they stop it to deal with blood. It's a physical sport blood can happen and they should know that by now

abyss/chris park had his 2 upper front knocked out by rvd on an impact show this not a hardcore match, i think blood/blading works when it is part of a storyline or to sell a match like roode v storm at bound for glory or the lockdown matches.
