Have they all given up?

Is there an industry wide agreement to produce the same level of tame drivel night after night? No channel is taking any more risks than any of their competitors. Do they ring round each night about 8.55pm to discuss content? Years ago they tried to outdo eachother, or at least offer different output. I really get the impression nobody is bothered at any of the channels. Seriously when was the last pussy flash? I cannot recall anything daring for a couple of years back..Bailey and some of the Sportxxx girls were the last to try something a tad different but no more.

You're right. The channels are not bothered about challenging Ofcom, if that's what you meant.

No, they haven't given up. They're operating responsibly within the guidelines laid down by the regulator (pity the banks didn't have the same attitude).
Much as we, the viewers, would like them to go further if I was a shareholder in a channel that started playing silly buggers with ofcom I'd have my money out faster than you could say "jingle bells"

Whether ofcom is right or wrong is a separate issue.

I want to disagree with this post... almost every fibre in my body wants to say it's bollocks. Truth is, I can't disagree with a single word!

The babeshow producers are running a business and are only interested in making sure the cash continues to flow in.

I'm afraid it's time we all faced a few facts, namely that today's generation of babeshow viewers aren't interested in harder content. They enjoy speaking with and texting these girls, pretending they have meaningful relationships with them. This keeps the shows afloat very nicely and unless Ofcom loosen their grip (not going to happen while they, the moral brigade and government (one and the same) continue to insist pornography is harmful and push for tighter regulation and laws across the whole of the adult industry)) the producers are not going to change a damn thing.

I suggest everyone prepares for things getting even worse before there's even a glimmer that things might improve. The fight against pornography is currently too strong and we simply cannot win.

Think your spot on in regards to people being satisfied with what's on, just gotta accept that nothing's changing and just make do with bsx or shebang lol

For as long as bikinis and bare legs and midriffs aren't censored, they'll never sink to tame drivel levels in the eyes of a significant number. The programmes are about soft eroticism and glamour more than they've ever been about 'risk' and cheap, explicit flashery. We've probably become jaded as a viewing audience, also. If you could transplant tonight's shows back in time so that they appeared with no history and no precedent in an evening in the mid-90s, say, they would cause a major stir. The over-production and graphics and packaging of the shows has become tiresome, though, without question. A return to simpler show structures and more spontaneity would be welcome.

There is far too much covering up these days the girls who want to push it just do bsx and shebang so those of us stuck with sky just get shafted do away with bsx or shebang if you want the girls to push for better content on sky. These days the day and night shows are only seperated by the odd topless moment. I'd ban stockings for a start they spoil a nice leg.
