Forum database problem

Many members will have noticed that earlier today the forum reverted to an earlier backup. This was not done by forum admin but by the webhost and their explanation for this is attached. Hopefully this disruption to the forum did not interfere too much with members' use of the forum, although losing posts is of course always a blow. To be fair to the webhost the forum is 8 months old now and we have not previously experienced any issue of this kind.
