Mexican Drug War

Howdy, been following this for a while now never ceases to amaze me that its largely ignored seems to be a taboo subject for both mitt romney and barack obama in their presidential election and generally doesnt seem to get as much news time as it should. Mexican president Calderon launched an offensive against the cartels in 2006 since then there has been an estimated 60,000 people killed with about 20,000 missing (presumed dead). The brutality of the cartels is just unbelievable its routine for them to behead 15-16 people and dump their bodys in public. The police seem to be corrupted to the core.
